daappa appointed Product and Development managers in 2017 and they are now joined by Graham Aitken as Head of Client Engagement. The expertise he brings from investment operations and technology will further enhance daappa’s ability to deliver innovative solutions to meet the investment accounting data management challenges faced by Asset Servicers, Investment Managers and Institutional Investors in the Private Equity sector.

Launched as Framework in 2000, daappa provides enterprise investment accounting data management solutions designed to deliver transparency, insight and accountability for all stakeholders in Private Equity and Real Estate investment. daappa is experiencing a period of growth and change, as is Private Equity. The industry is experiencing: higher investor allocations, higher investor expectations, and recognition by leading Investment Managers and Asset Servicers that they need to scale operations in response to the demands of Private Equity investors. Added to this, increasing regulation means that investors are expecting full visibility of their investment managers’ processes. Harnessing 17 years’ expertise and experience in the sector, daappa’s solution has been redesigned to meet the evolving data management needs of Private Equity. daappa brings Private Equity investment accounting data into a single, central operational accounting data hub. This single source provides self-service access to all stakeholders, internally – across the PE enterprise, and externally – including investors, administrators, and other third-parties. The appointment of additional product, development, and client engagement specialists from a mix of investment operations and technology backgrounds further supports daappa’s commitment to clients’ need for improved investment data management. The company’s overall headcount has doubled over the past two years. Graham Aitken brings with him over 15 years’ experience in investment operations technology and professional services. Since 2006 he has worked for FIS managing the delivery of their post-trade securities (PTS) processing platform to investment banks and inter-dealer brokers. In his most recent role Graham led the FIS PTS professional services practice for the EMEA region.

Paul Whapham, Managing Director of daappa, said:

“Together with our recent Product Manager and Development Manager hires, this marks a significant step forward for daappa. 2018 will bring further growth in our delivery capacity in response to demand for our expertise in the Private Equity accounting solutions sector.”

Graham Aitken, Head of Client Development, said:

“After many years managing projects and professional services in the FinTech industry I have built a strong understanding of what it takes to deliver software and services in a challenging and demanding industry. Delivery is a strong differentiator in our sector. I look forward to applying my skills and experience to deliver the solutions daappa offers to our existing and future clients.” Media Contact: Kristina Campbell Email: kristina.campbell@daappa.com Tel: +44 (0)20 7510 9597
