This team is at the heart of crafting innovative software solutions, working in close harmony with various departments to design, create, and refine software that consistently exceeds our clients’ expectations.
Core Mission
Your fundamental role will be to spearhead the development and maintenance of web applications, fostering collaboration across departments to conceptualise and hone industry-leading software solutions. Your expertise will be pivotal in upholding stringent coding and design standards, developing visually striking data-driven applications, and applying your domain knowledge to create solutions that resonate within the private equity software solution industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
- Follow coding and design standards.
- Create visually appealing data-driven apps.
- Utilise domain knowledge for industry-specific solutions.
Requirements
- Preferably, experience in software product companies rather than project-based or outsourcing work.
- Familiarity with accounting terms and concepts is beneficial.
- Previous involvement in multidisciplinary teams including Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Tech Design, and Testing, ideally on small 5-6-person “tiger-team” projects.
- Comfortable with regular progress updates, such as weekly or fortnightly feedback sessions.
- Willingness to adhere to coding and design standards and participate in peer reviews of team members’ designs and code.
- Capable of travelling to the London office when necessary, without visa restrictions or undue family commitments.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a lean, high-performance team focused on new product development. Willingness to undertake tasks and duties that may not always be the first choice.
- Evidence of strong teamwork and cooperative skills.
Skills required
- Around 5+ years of experience in JavaScript/CSS/HTML, Angular, .NET with C#, XML, and NET. and data visualization: high level of proficiency and experience.
- Works to Clean Code and SOLID
- Understanding of packaging and module concepts in JavaScript.
- Responsive design approach: proven
- Excellent communication (including presentation), listening and interpersonal skills: English language – bilingual proficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience with financial or accounting systems is highly valued.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI), analytics, and data visualization is a plus.
- Ability to create visually appealing, data-driven visualization applications.
- Prior involvement with investment management or investment accounting systems is advantageous.
- Experience working with workflow applications.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) within a Business Process Management (BPM) framework.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in JavaScript/CSS/HTML, Angular, .NET with C#, XML, and ASP.NET.
- Proficient in Clean Code and SOLID principles.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript concepts.
- Excellent English communication skills.
