Following our business growth, we are looking for a Test Analyst to strengthen our Quality Control (QC) Team. QC plays a critical role in overseeing both internal and external platform deliveries, as well as implementation activities with our global private asset client base. Collaboration with the Development, Global Professional Services, and Support teams is key to our success in ensuring the smooth delivery of new releases, overseeing project deliveries, and maintaining the highest quality standards of software releases.
Core Mission
Your main responsibility will be to ensure our software is ready for release to our clients. This entails collaborating on the creation of test cases, reporting defects, and exploring opportunities for automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, promoting agile practices and upholding the highest standards of quality. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining our commitment to excellence and high levels of client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop detailed test cases and test scripts that cover all aspects of the application, including functionality, usability, and performance.
- Report defects and issues found during testing, including clear steps to reproduce and screenshots if applicable.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with the automation team to automate repetitive and critical test cases.
Requirements
- Develop and execute Test Plans, design Test Cases, and document results.
- Identify suitable parameters, functions, and data for thorough testing and validation, encompassing aspects like general functions, result validity, accuracy, reliability, and adherence to industry standards.
- Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure that products adhere to user requirements and comply with established guidelines.
- Demonstrate proficiency in creating and executing both functional and non-functional test cases, employing a combination of manual and automated testing techniques.
- Manage tasks under stringent timelines, consistently meeting project deadlines.
- Exhibit expertise in using automated testing tools, particularly within a Microsoft development and application environment.
- Possess knowledge of JUnit/TestNG annotations and Java programming, which is considered a valuable skill.
- Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, interacting with Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, and Tech Design professionals, understanding their roles and effectively integrating their expertise.
- Regularly conduct “show and tell” sessions to showcase the working progress, providing feedback on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
- Conduct data analysis to compile and interpret statistical information.
- Apply both agile and TDLC techniques, adapting to the project’s specific needs.
- Adhere to defined processes and monitor the time allocated to Quality Control tasks.
- Exhibit familiarity with at least one Test Management system, preferably MS TFS/MTM.
- Demonstrate a readiness to travel to the London office when required, without visa restrictions or significant family commitments.
- Display a strong commitment to contributing to a lean, high-performance team operating in a dynamic global sector, readily taking on various tasks and responsibilities for the benefit of the team’s success.
Skills required
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server database operations, including SQL statement creation and the development of Stored Procedures. Evidence of formal training is preferred.
- Experience in handling the complete IT project life cycle, with particular emphasis on Test, Development, or Support roles. Prior experience in these domains is a plus.
- Familiarity with Excel and VBA is a bonus, especially in terms of navigating the Excel interface, data import, and export.
- Excellent communication skills, encompassing effective presentation, active listening, and interpersonal abilities. Being proficient in both English and French is highly beneficial as our client base spans international boundaries.
- An ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and efficiently manage multiple priorities is essential.

- Proficient in reporting defects with clarity and actionable steps.
- Capable of identifying automation opportunities and collaborating with automation teams.
- Proficient in adapting to agile and TDLC methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Relevant industry professional qualifications are a bonus.
